Participants of The 3rd International Al-Khwarizmi Mathematics Olympiad traveled to "Ichan Qal'a"

Today, as part of The 3rd International Al-Khwarizmi Mathematics Olympiad, young mathematicians from different countries of the world traveled to the "Ichan Qal'a" museum-reserve, the heart of ancient Khiva. In addition to the scientific competitions within the framework of the Olympiad, this visit provided the participants with the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich history and cultural heritage of Khorezm.

"Ichan Qal'a" is a unique architectural complex included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, which combines many ancient monuments. During the trip, the guests examined such historical monuments as the Muhammad Aminkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Juma Mosque, and Tash Khovli Palace. The guests were provided with detailed information about the history of the fortress, political and cultural life during the Khiva Khanate.

This visit served to further demonstrate the tourism potential of the Khorezm region and increased international guests' interest in the region's historical monuments and hospitable people.
