The First Stage of the State Scholarships Competition Was Held

In accordance with the Presidential Decree No. PF-6309 dated September 9, 2021, and the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 226 dated October 13, 2008, and based on the Order No. 239 of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated June 25, 2025, the first stage of the competition for the Presidential and Named State Scholarships was held at Urgench State University.

In line with the classifier of higher education fields and specialties, and considering educational disciplines:

For master's students — the competition was held for the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

For bachelor's students — fields for the Presidential and Named State Scholarships were approved.

At this initial stage, candidates took oral exams in History of Uzbekistan, the State Language, and a Foreign Language, testing their knowledge and competence.

These competitions create valuable opportunities for talented, knowledgeable, ambitious, and active youth to fully demonstrate their potential and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science and society.
