The First Meeting with Young Researchers from Germany Held at Urgench State University within the RISMUz/RESMiCA Project


Today, on August 27, the first meeting with young researchers from Germany took place at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, as part of the RISMUz/RESMiCA project.

This meeting marked a new stage in international cooperation aimed at the development of sustainable transportation systems. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Ibragimov, Associate Professor of the Department of Business and Management E.Khodjaniyazov, as well as local project participants.

The researchers were given detailed information about the university campus, scientific laboratories, and cooperation opportunities. Under the RISMUz/RESMiCA project, young scientists from Germany will conduct scientific research over the course of three months in the city of Urgench on topics such as sustainable urban transport, pedestrian and bicycle lanes, public transportation systems, and road safety.

Additionally, together with local specialists, they will carry out research aimed at improving transport infrastructure in the “Nurli Hayot” neighborhood.
