Celebration Event Held at Urgench State University

Today, on the occasion of October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day, a festive event was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. This day holds special significance as a time to honor the dedication of educators—those who bring knowledge, light, spirituality, and enlightenment into the hearts of the younger generation—and to once again highlight their vital role in society.

At the event, Acting Rector of the University S.Khodjaniyazov and a number of professors and lecturers spoke, highly appreciating the devoted efforts of teachers in the educational process and congratulating them on the occasion.

During the solemn celebration, in honor of October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day, a group of professors and lecturers were awarded honorary certificates and commemorative gifts from the university's trade union for their effective work in the field of education, their dedication in training students to meet modern professional requirements, and their efforts in raising youth in the spirit of loyalty to the nation.

The event also featured musical performances by faculty members from the Department of Arts and an artistic performance by the "Jayhun" orchestra ensemble, which brought joy and a festive mood to all attendees.
