Student Rental Housing Safety Being Assessed in Cooperation with the Emergency Department

Currently, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, in cooperation with the Urgench City Emergency Situations Department, is conducting inspections of student-rented housing. These efforts aim to prevent emergencies and ensure fire safety during the autumn-winter season.

Today, these activities continued with a seminar organized by the staff of the Urgench City Emergency Situations Department. During the seminar, university tutors received practical recommendations on enhancing safety measures in student-rented homes. Topics included prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning, fire safety, and electrical hazard mitigation.

These joint efforts between the Emergency Situations Department and Urgench State University are focused on protecting students' lives and creating a safe living environment. As part of the initiative, all rental accommodations will be inspected.
