“El-yurt umidi” Foundation Days – A Day of Motivation, Scholarships, and Opportunities for Students and Pupils

Today, October 10, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, an open dialogue was held between responsible representatives of the “El-yurt umidi” Foundation and students and pupils. The event took place in the large conference hall of the university's Information Resource Center.

The event was attended by representatives of the Khorezm Regional Government, the administration of Urgench State University, the Khorezm branch of the Agency for Public Administration Efficiency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Department of Preschool and School Education, scholarship recipients of the Foundation, university students, PhD candidates, master’s students, as well as school pupils from the region.

The event was opened by the Deputy Governor of the region, S.Salayev, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the youth. Then, the Head of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Khorezm region, Kh.Bektimirov, spoke about the attention and opportunities being provided to the youth.

After that, the Head of Department of the “El-yurt umidi” Foundation, G. Khatamov, and the Foundation’s senior inspectors M. Fayziyev and Q. Bektemirov gave detailed information about the foundation’s activities, current programs, competitions, candidate requirements, application procedures, the conditions created for specialists returning from abroad, and opportunities for professional development.

Comprehensive information was also presented about the foundation’s scholarship programs for studying, training, and conducting scientific research abroad, as well as their broad scope.

During the dialogue, the youth received detailed answers to their questions — regarding the application procedures to foreign universities, grant programs, language requirements, study opportunities at the master’s and doctoral levels, and the rules of working in Uzbekistan after completing education through the foundation.

This meeting had great motivational significance for students and gifted pupils. Practical advice was given on the specific mechanisms to make their dreams of studying and gaining experience abroad come true, the stages of the selection process, and the necessary documents.

Additionally, during the meeting, scholarship recipients of the “El-yurt umidi” Foundation who had studied abroad shared their experiences and encouraged young people to actively engage in science, innovation, and gaining international experience.
