Public Council
The First Meeting of the Public Council Was Held at Urgench State University
Today, on July 29, 2025, the first meeting of the Public Council was held at Abu Rayhon Beruni Urgench State University. The Council was established in accordance with Order No. 242 of the Rector of the University in order to ensure the implementation of Order No. 86 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
The meeting was chaired by the First Vice-Rector of the University, D. Ibodullayev, and was attended by members of the Council as well as representatives of the public. During the meeting, reports by responsible officials on important issues included in the agenda were heard.
➡️ During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

The purpose of establishing the Council, its main tasks, and future areas of activity;

Measures being implemented at the university to create a healthy moral environment and prevent corruption;

The financial and economic activities of Urgench State University for the first half of 2025;
-
Exchange of views on other pressing and organizational issues.
It is worth noting that the composition of the Public Council includes not only representatives of the university but also members of the wider public actively working in various fields. This clearly demonstrates the university’s commitment to openness, transparency, and close cooperation with society.
