A Meeting Dedicated to Combating Corruption Was Held.
From October 8 to 10, 2025, members of the Republican working group formed by the Senate’s Committee on Defense and Security Issues are conducting a series of meetings and analytical events in the Khorezm region.
Today, within this framework, a meeting was held at Abu Rayhon Beruni Urgench State University by Shuhrat Yadgarov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science, and Innovation, aimed at preventing cases of petty corruption in the education sector and addressing their root causes.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Khorezm Regional Department of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science, and Innovation, as well as employees and heads of the Compliance Control Departments of all higher education institutions in the region.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the implementation of priority tasks outlined at the National Council meeting on combating corruption, the causes of petty corruption, and local situations. Important recommendations were provided on preventing potential corruption cases, ensuring transparency and openness in educational institutions, and raising legal awareness among young people.
