A meeting was held between the management and the “Anti-Corruption Monitoring Group”

On February 5 of the current year, a meeting was organized at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni between the Acting Rector of the University, S.Khodjaniyazov, and members of the “Anti-Corruption Monitoring Group.”

During the meeting, the university management paid special attention to issues related to combating corruption, early identification and prevention of factors contributing to its emergence, as well as improving mechanisms of cooperation with the public in the prevention of various negative phenomena and crime. A report on the activities carried out at the university in this area was presented to the public monitoring group.

In addition, the Head of the Department for Managing the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” System, Kh.Shikhova, provided detailed information on the systematic measures aimed at preventing corruption at the university, internal control mechanisms, and ongoing efforts to ensure transparency.

During the meeting, proposals from the members of the public monitoring group were discussed.

This meeting serves as a clear demonstration of the university leadership’s uncompromising stance against corruption, its firm commitment to ensuring openness and transparency, and its consistent efforts to strengthen cooperation with the public.
