An interactive multidisciplinary educational project of the University of California at Berkeley and Urgench State University
Since January 2020, research has been conducted within the framework of the interactive multidisciplinary educational project "University of California at Berkeley Urgench State University Uzbekistan Interactive multi-disciplinary teaching in structural health" of the University of California at Berkeley and Urgench State University.
A new innovative approach - laser scanning - was used to study the technical condition of the architectural complex "Juma Masjid" in the Khiva complex "Ichankala".
Due to the pandemic, the 1st stage of the project was carried out in the form of theoretical training in the Zoom system, and laser scanning was carried out directly at the site. For the first time in this regard, the results of the study were obtained.
Currently, preparations are underway for the implementation of the second final part of the project. At this stage, the study of the dynamics of cracks that have occurred at the site for many years, the implementation of measurements in the architectural complex "Islamkhoja", modeling of the process of measurements, etc. will be carried out.
