Dignity of humanity is precious, memory is sacred

On May 4, 2021, the professors, teachers and students of the Tourism and Economics Faculty on the occasion of the May 9 "Day of Memory and Honor" visited the veteran of the World War II Samandar Khudoyberganov, who lives in the village of Soyot, Khiva District. The veteran spoke about the turbulent years, shared his memories of the war. He was pleased with the visit of the guests and gave a blessing.

Also, teachers and students visited the house of the late Mamatov Olimboy Sabirovich, a serviceman and law enforcement officer who died in the years of independence in the line of duty, living in the village of Soyot, Khiva region. Members of his family told about his service to the people and paid tribute to the memory. Relatives of Olimboy Sabirovich thanked the administration of UrSU and the Tourism and Economics Faculty.

Teachers of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty, accompanied by students, visited the house of Dzhumaniyazov Shomurat, a resident of the Shavat district of the Khorezm region, a participant in the World War II in Ukraine and Belarus, and inquired after his health. Grandpa shared his memories of the war with students.

Professors of the Chemistry and Technology Faculty on the occasion of the celebration of May 9 - " Day of Memory and Honor" visited the house of the World War II veteran Khojaev Otavoy, who lives in the Urgench region, and congratulated him on the holiday. Currently, the veteran is 100 years old. We wish Khodjaev Otavoy good health.

The teaching staff of the Technical faculty on the occasion of the May 9 "Day of Memory and Honor" congratulated the participant of the Second World War, a disabled person of the 1st group, born in 1922 Dzhagirov Marat, who lives in the Bagat region in the Naiman mahalla of the Naiman village.

And also, the head of the Youth Union J. Mirzaev and active students of the faculty visited the house of Yakubov Dilshod Ilyosovich, who lives in the village of Karmish, Yangiarik region, who died in the years of independence in the line of duty, and met with relatives and friends. We honored the memory of the deceased and prayed for him.

Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the History Faculty H. Saidov and students on the occasion of the celebration of May 9 - “Day of Memory and Honor” visited the house of the World War II participant Matnazarov Bekchon, who lives in the Khazarasp region. The veteran spoke about the difficult years of the war, about the negative impact of the war on our citizens and on the whole world, he also spoke about the development and reforms that took place in the years of independence, as well as about the opportunities provided to young people. At the end of the meeting, grandfather prayed for our Motherland and its further development.

On May 5, 2021, professors and teachers of the Physical Education Faculty visited the house of the Great Patriotic War veteran Abdulla Akhmedov, who lives in the Yangibazar region, to congratulate the war veteran on May 9 - “Day of Memory and Honor”. The grandfather shared his memories of the war years, expressed his deep gratitude for the visit and blessed the guests.
