"Veneration of ancestors is a sacred value"
On May 8, 2021, a literary and artistic evening "Veneration of ancestors is a sacred value" was held at Urgench State University, dedicated to the celebration of May 9 - "Day of Memory and Honor".
The event was organized by the History, Philology, Pedagogy and Foreign philology faculties, where deans, professors-teachers and students took part, and headed by the rector Bakhrom Abdullayev.
The festive event was opened by the rector of the university B. Abdullaev, who congratulated everyone on the holiday. B. Abdullayev noted that we are proud of our compatriots who sacrificed their lives for a peaceful sky overhead.
After that, the main part of the event began. The plays about the Second World War prepared by the students, the poems glorifying the Motherland, gave the guests a good mood.
During the event, honored teachers who have worked at the university for many years were remembered.
