An anniversary event was held dedicated to famous literary critic Hamdam Abdullayev
An anniversary event was held at Urgench state university in the Palace of culture, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous literary critic, doctor of philological sciences, professor, honored worker of science of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, member of the Union of writers of Uzbekistan Abdullaev Hamdam Jumaniyazovich. The deputy governer of the region S.K.Solayev with his congratulations declared the event open. Then, the rector of Urgench state university B. Abdullayev delivered a speech and handed a memorable gift to Hamdam Abdullayev on behalf of the entire university. Also, the representitive of the trade union of education and science workers, cultural figures of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Khorezm region M.R. Rakhimova, the head of the regional branch of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan G. Ibodullaeva, deputy chairman of the Union of writers of Uzbekistan G. Majid, expressed their wishes to Hamdam Abdullayev in their speeches. All participants of the event congratulated Hamdam Abdullayev Jumaniyazovich on his 80th birthday and wished him success in his acdemic career.
