Corruption is a hindrance to development.

Today, on October 15, a meeting was held at the Culture Palace of Urgench State University with first-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology on the topic "Corruption is a Hindrance to Development," featuring X. Shikhova, the head of the department for combating corruption "Compliance Control."

✅ During the meeting, special attention was given to the conditions created for youth in our country, the necessity of being honest and fair in academic activities, actively participating in preventing corruption and risks, and the importance of a resolute struggle against this issue and overcoming it together.

✅ Additionally, essential concepts were provided regarding the development of legal culture and legal awareness, as well as enhancing skills in working with normative-legal documents in the fight against corruption. First-year students admitted to higher education were informed about the importance of maintaining academic integrity, the unacceptability of cheating, and the broad opportunities available for acquiring knowledge at the university.
