In order to inform the public about the ongoing work to ensure transparency and openness in the university system in line with the tasks set out in paragraphs 16 and 17 of the minutes of the National Council on the Fight Against Corruption of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. 15 dated June 26, 2024, today, a roundtable discussion was held by the Compliance Monitoring Department of Urgench State University on the topic of combating corruption. The event involved activists and elders of the "Ma'rifat" neighborhood in Urgench city.
During the event, the head of the department, X. Shikhova, provided information about the measures taken to prevent corruption in the university and called on students to use their time meaningfully and to be resolute in combating academic corruption in the educational process.
