Scientific-practical conference "Literary heritage of Alisher Navoi: aspects of interpretation and analysis"

When we speak about Navoi, each of us take great pride. In our country, systematic work is being carried out to thoroughly study the his works, to publish full edition of his works again and again, to use the glorified ideas in them in the education of the younger generation. In particular, the annual celebration of Alisher Navoi's birthday in higher education institutions has become a national tradition.

On February 8, the Culture Hall of the Urgench State University hosted a scientific-practical conference on "Literary heritage of Alisher Navoi: aspects of interpretation and analysis" on the occasion of the 581st anniversary of the birth of the sultan of the realm of words, great poet and thinker Mir Alisher Navoi.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Khorezm regional administration, members of the Writers' Union, university faculties and students. The conference was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology D.Gayipov.

Opening the conference, S. Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual Educational Affairs of UrSU, acknowledged the great poet, statesman and public figure's great contribution to the literature, history, spirituality and education of the Uzbek people.

After that, Ph.D., prof. Z.Dosimov, R.Khudayberganov, Adviser to the Khorezm Region Governor on State Language, Ph.D., dotcent A. Urazbaev, Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, dotcent S.Matkarimova, Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, Ph.D., dotcent A.Primov, Ph.D., dotcent D.Yuldashev spoke on a number of topics such as, “Alisher Navoiy ijodiy merosining bashariyat ma’naviy-ma’rifiy taraqqiyotidagi o‘rni”, “Lison ut-tayr” asarida tilshunoslik muammolari, “Xorazmlik mashoyixlar Alisher Navoiy vasfida”, “Bayoniy asarlarida Navoiyga izdoshlik”, “Alisher Navoiyning o‘zbek tili rivojiga qo‘shgan hissasi”, “Alisher Navoiy asarlarida sintaktik munosabatlar”. Also, Poets from the Writers’ Union presented their works to the conference participants.

At the end of the conference, the Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual educational Affairs S.Davletov presented laptops of the university administration to the winner of the final round of the contest "Triumph of poetry" Nodira Yuldasheva, a student of the Philology Faculty, 185 Uzbek language direction, and to the winner of the final round of the contest "Best Reader Student" Gulnoza Safoyeva, a student of the Philology Faculty, 181-Uzbek language direction.

The winners of the "Best Audio Poem" and "Best Video" contests dedicated to the 581st anniversary of Alisher Navoi were also awarded.
