Urgench State University hosted a contest called "Gulshanaro gulchehralar"
Zulfiyakhanim, a symbol of devotion and fidelity of the Uzbek people, acquainted students with the way of her life and works, widely promoted the work of the poet, as well as the spiritual image of every Uzbek woman in the image of such a selfless and strong-willed woman. On March 1, 2022, on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of Zulfiyakhanum's birth, a contest "Gulshanaro gulchehralar" was held in order to improve the spiritual and moral, aesthetic development of students, the criteria of communication culture and preparation for family life, and most importantly, to help them spend their free time meaningfully.
S.Davletov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU, opened the contest with an introductory speech, congratulated the audience on the spring holiday and wished good luck to all participants.
Talented students from all faculties of the university competed in the contest, which was organized by the Women's Council of the University and the Khorezm regional branch of the Democratic Party "Milliy Tiklanish".
The contest was held on the basis of 5 tasks, in which students used all their skills and talents. According to the results of the contest, Shahrizoda Kuziyeva, a student of the Philology Faculty, won the highest place and the nomination "Deserved follower of Zulfiyakhanum".
Also, a student of the Pedagogy Faculty Yusupova Mohira and a student of the Physical Culture Faculty Komiljonova Anaxon took 1st place;
Student of the Chemical Technology Faculty Polvonnazirova Lobar 2nd place;
Aminova Umida, a student of the Foreign Philology Faculty, and Shomuratova Aydinoy, a student of the History Faculty, took the 3rd place.
Winners and active participants were awarded with diplomas and gifts.
