A spiritual and educational event on "Education against ignorance" was held
On March 4, 2022, the Culture Hall of Urgench State University hosted a spiritual and educational event on "Education against ignorance." S.Davletov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU, M.Umurzakov, Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region for Relations with Public and Religious Organizations, Kh.Abdullayev, Representative of the Muslim Board of Khorezm Region, Chief Imam of Khorezm Region, E.Safayev, an officer of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm Region, and university students.
Opening the event, First Vice-Rector S.Davletov spoke about the ongoing reforms in the country, educational work, the conditions and opportunities created for students, important issues in the formation of youth spirituality.
During the meeting, the guests discussed "Socio-economic, religious reforms in our country, the need for the youth to get an education and achieve spiritual maturity," "The noble goals of Islam, such as humanity, peace and friendship," and "Ideological threats spread through the Internet and social networks and issues of their prevention." In today's era of globalization, the issues of preventing and combating various ideological threats were discussed.
At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions.
