What forms of questionnaires are used in the census?

The content of the questionnaires is important for the effective and targeted organization of the census and the formation of complete information about the respondents.

Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Census" defines the list of questions in the collection of personal data - the program of population registration and its composition.

The population census in our country is based on the following five types of surveys developed on the basis of the registration program:

- Features of accommodation and list of occupants,

- Personal questionnaire,

- Questionnaire for foreigners temporarily visiting the Republic of Uzbekistan,

- Questionnaire for the collection of personal data for certain categories of the population,

- Checklist for citizens and stateless persons of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the place of temporary residence.

These surveys are used to compile data on demographics, population movement, migration, national characteristics, citizenship, education level, economic status of household members, and number of children.

PS: Registration deadline is November 1, 2023 at 00.00. The registration period is 25 days.

The collection of personal data of the respondents does not consider the demographic situation that occurred after the date of registration, i.e. November 1
