Presentation of the Navoi Encyclopedia: The Harmony of Science and Spirituality

On May 23, the presentation ceremony of the b was held at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi. This event was of great spiritual importance not only for the scientific community, but also for the younger generation.

The presentation ceremony was attended by well-known literary scholars, representatives of the regional administration, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the university, as well as students and youth. Opening the event, the first vice-rector of the university, D.Ibadullayev, emphasized that the legacy of Alisher Navoi is still relevant and important today.

At the presentation, the editor-in-chief of the encyclopedia, Deputy Director of the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philology, Professor Maqsud Asadov expressed in-depth analytical views on the history of the creation of this unique work, its content, essence, and scientific and methodological significance.

The event was hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, Doctor of Philology, Professor D.Gayipov. He touched upon the scientific and practical significance of the encyclopedia and particularly recognized its place in the development of Uzbek literature and linguistics.

Also, the head of the Department of Language Teaching Methods of the Khorezm Regional Pedagogical Center, Doctor of Philology, Professor N. Sabirova, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor M. Otajonova, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor S. Matkarimova, and the advisor to the Khorezm regional governor on state language issues J.Sobirov gave detailed comments on the role of the encyclopedia in improving the quality of education in the future, its contribution to enriching the spirituality of young people, and its scientific significance.

During the event, students of the Faculty of Philology and Arts performed excerpts from Alisher Navoi's ghazals, sang national songs, and performed beautiful dances. In particular, a staged excerpt from the great thinker's work "Lison ut-tair" gave the presentation a special charm and excitement.

The presentation ceremony made a great impression on all participants. The publication of the "Alisher Navoi Encyclopedia" was greeted as a high event in the spiritual and educational life of our country.
