A short-term training course was organized in the "Govuk" tourist neighborhood of Khiva district
On May 8-10, 2025, in the "Govuk" neighborhood of the Khiva district, which has a high tourism potential in the Khorezm region, in accordance with the program "Increasing the income of poor family members by establishing new tourism services in neighborhoods with high tourism potential", short training courses were organized for representatives of the local population on the topic "Issues of organizing the activities of the population in the field of folk crafts and establishing the production of souvenir products in neighborhoods with high tourism potential" with the participation of specialists from the regional tourism department and Nurbek Jobborov, professor and teacher of the "Tourism" department of the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni. During the organized training course, representatives of the local population were introduced to the experience of Germany and Italy in serving tourists through the production of souvenir products of local crafts, and a round table discussion was held on ways to attract tourists by establishing the production of souvenir products using local capabilities.
