Presentation of a Rare Book Dedicated to the History of Khorezm Held

Today, a presentation of the book “The History of Ancient Khorezm” by Rakhimbergan Sapayev, an honorary academician of the “Turan” Academy of Sciences, was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.

The event was aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of our country’s rich historical heritage, the ancient civilization of the Khorezm oasis, and the invaluable scientific and spiritual legacy left by our ancestors. The presentation was attended by members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, prominent cultural figures, historians of Urgench State University, and young researchers.

During the event, comprehensive discussions were held on the scientific and educational significance of “The History of Ancient Khorezm”, the historical sources reflected in the work, the author’s research efforts, and his innovative approaches. It was especially emphasized that the book serves as an important resource for the in-depth study of Khorezm’s history and for strengthening a sense of national identity, respect for history, and pride among the younger generation.
