A meeting was held between the management and the “Anti-Corruption Monitoring Group”.
Today, on February 5, a meeting was organized at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni between the Acting Rector of the University, S. Khodjaniyazov, and the members of the “Anti-Corruption Monitoring Group”.
During the meeting, the university management paid special attention to issues related to combating corruption, the early identification and prevention of its root causes, as well as further improving mechanisms of cooperation with the public in the prevention of various negative situations and crime. Information was also presented to the public monitoring group on the work being carried out at the university in this area.
In addition, the Head of the Department for Managing the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” System, X. Shikhova, provided detailed information on the systemic measures aimed at preventing corruption at the university, internal control mechanisms, and the efforts being implemented to ensure transparency.
During the meeting, proposals put forward by members of the public monitoring group were discussed.
This meeting is considered a clear demonstration of the university management’s uncompromising stance against corruption, its firm position on ensuring openness and transparency, and its consistent efforts to strengthen cooperation with the public.
