The First Deputy Minister Reviewed the Activities of Urgench State University

On March 5, a working group headed by Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, paid a working visit to Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni.

During the visit, he became acquainted with the activities of the laboratories and educational infrastructure of the university’s Faculties of Chemical Technologies and Engineering, as well as with architectural projects and the laboratories of automobile and transport systems and agricultural machinery.

An analytical meeting was also held with senior officials of higher education institutions of the Khorezm region. During the meeting, the work carried out to prevent crime and offenses among students was analyzed, and instructions were given to strengthen preventive and spiritual-educational activities.

In addition, within the framework of Youth Day, an open dialogue was held with the university students. Detailed answers were given to students’ questions and proposals, and specific tasks were defined to support their initiatives.
