UrSU — BukhSU: Student Basketball Friendly Matches Kick Off
In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 4, 2024, “On the Development of Team Sports and the Improvement of the Talent Selection System,” friendly basketball matches and joint training sessions are being organized between the students of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni (UrSU) and Bukhara State University (BukhSU).
As part of this sports event, which will take place from March 15 to 17, students from the two universities will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and improve their athletic skills.
On this occasion, BukhSU students arrived in Urgench accompanied by their coaches. Today, the opening ceremony of the competition was held, with speeches delivered by UrSU’s First Vice-Rector D.Ibadullayev, Deputy Chairman of the Sports Club M.Rahimov, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Activity, Pedagogy, and Psychology A.Khudayberganov, Head of the Department of Sports Games F.Masharipov, as well as BukhSU coach O.Farmonov, wishing all student-athletes success in the competition.
The friendly basketball matches among students are currently underway. Follow the events with us!
We would like to remind that upon completion of the competition and the training camp, a training seminar is also planned with the participation of the Department of Sports Games and BukhSU coaches.
