Scientific Activities

The scientific potential of the Department of Art is 10.7%. The academic staff of the department conducts research activities in two main areas:

Ways to improve disciplines taught in art-related fields.

Application of innovative technologies and modern pedagogical approaches in art education.

A scientific and theoretical seminar operates regularly under the department.

1. Abdirimov Komiljon Tokhirovich – Head of the Department. Author of 10 articles and 1 teaching and methodological manual prepared for publication.
2. Rakhimov Botir Matyakubovich – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Art Studies, Associate Professor. Author of over 30 scientific articles, 3 monographs, 1 brochure, 6 teaching and methodological manuals, 1 textbook, and 3 study guides.
3. Boltayev Rustam Kurbonbayevich – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Art Studies, Acting Associate Professor. Author of over 30 scientific articles, 2 monographs, 3 methodological manuals, and 2 study guides.
4. Sultanova Gulchehra Ozodovna – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Art Studies, Acting Associate Professor. Author of 40 articles, 1 study guide, and 2 methodological manuals.
5. Matchonov Ochilbek – People’s Hafiz of Uzbekistan, Professor, recipient of the “Shuhrat” Medal, master and expert of Khorezm classical songs.
6. Khudayberganov Samandar Qoziyevich – Professor, Honored Worker of Higher Education. Author of 68 articles, 5 monographs, 1 textbook, and 7 study guides; master and expert of Khorezm classical songs.
7. Amanbayev Bakhtiyar – Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Senior Lecturer. Author of over 10 articles, 2 monographs, 1 study guide, and 1 methodological manual.
8. Khayitboyev Diyorbek Jonibekovich – Acting Associate Professor. Author of 78 scientific articles, 5 industrial design patents, 3 methodological manuals, 1 study guide, and 1 textbook.
9. Djumaniyozov Umrbek Maksudovich – Acting Associate Professor. Author of 12 articles, 1 monograph, 1 study guide, and 1 textbook.
10. Kazakov Adilbek Madrimovich – Senior Lecturer, recipient of the “Devotee of Culture and Art” badge. Author of 11 articles and 1 methodological manual.
