OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION

According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 22, 2021 № PR-5157 "On the parameters of the state order of admission to higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the 2021/2022 academic year", today the admission quotas of all higher educational institutions of the republic have sharply increased. In particular, the admission rate at Urgench State University in the 2021/2022 academic year increased by 4.2%. Due to this, some faculties were temporarily rented.

In particular, we all know that the number of students in the Faculty of Foreign Philology mentioned in the above post has increased. Due to the lack of classrooms in the main building, the classrooms of the Urgench Construction College building are temporarily rented and some students of the faculty are taught. Classrooms for students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology meet all the requirements for teaching.

Extensive work is underway at Urgench State University. For information, in order to overcome the shortage of classrooms, the construction of a new 7-storey building for 2,000 seats has begun on the territory of the university, located on Hamid Olimjon Street in Urgench. The construction and commissioning of the new school building is scheduled for the 2022-2023 academic year.

In addition, an Information Resource Center is being built on Gurlan Street in Urgench. A plan for the capital reconstruction of a 776-seat educational building on Mustaqillik Street in Urgench district has started. It is planned to reconstruct a 600-seat dormitory in the area, renovate the building of the Technical Faculty on Gurlan Street in Urgench and build two new pitches in the area.

All this is important for the comprehensive development of the university, the creation of favorable conditions for students to gain in-depth knowledge, the provision of modern material and technical base, the training of highly qualified personnel.
