An open dialogue was held at UrSU on the occasion of "December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day"
Urgench State University hosted an open dialogue on "Life without corruption, the foundation of the future" on December 9, 2021.
The event, which was held in order to develop a culture of uncompromising fight against corruption among youth, to increase their involvement in public life, which was attended by the Vice-rector of UrSU S.Davletov, senior operative officer of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs R.Kamolov, employee of this department Z.Rahimov, Chief Legal Adviser of UrSU Sh.Atayev, Head of Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" of UrSU H.Shihova and members of the club "Active Youth".
The event was opened by S. Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs and he informed about the work carried out within the framework of the project "non-corruption sphere" at Urgench State University, the implementation of the system of Complayance Control in this regard, as well as the activities carried out within the framework of the week of anti-corruption.
After that, the staff of the Interior Ministry provided detailed information on the ongoing processes in the fight against corruption in the country, the situation with the detection of corruption crimes. The General Legal Adviser of UrSU Sh.Atayev spoke about the international experience of combating corruption, the formation of a legal culture of every citizen, their activity, increasing their place in society, the need to resolutely combat the negative in any work with a responsible approach, He stressed the need to take a responsible approach to any work and to fight against the negative.
During the meeting, a video was shown on corruption.
During the open discussion, students received detailed answers to many of their questions from experts and university representatives.
At the end of the event, the winners of the Anti-Corruption Week competition were awarded.
