Urgench State University hosted a spiritual and educational event on "Reforms in Khorezm region: results and prospects"
On December 10, 2021, Urgench State University hosted a spiritual and educational event on "Reforms in Khorezm region: results and prospects."
The event was attended by Farrukh Dalimov, Head of the Investment Projects Implementation Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sanjarbek Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU, Professor of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics Bakhtiyor Ruzmetov, Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics of UrSU A. Atajanov and faculties, staff and students of the university.
Farrukh Dalimov, Head of the Investment Projects Implementation Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, opened the event with an introductory speech. In his report, he touched upon issues such as further socio-economic development of Khorezm region, increasing their incomes and living standards by providing employment to the population, especially women, youth, and low-income citizens.
Speakers at the event, including Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov spoke on "New Uzbekistan: From the Action Strategy - to the Development Strategy", Professor of the Faculty of Economics B. Rozmetov, spoke about the work being carried out in Khorezm region and the essence of the tasks envisaged in the program of socio-economic development of the region in 2022-2026, the Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics of UrSU A. Atajanov, spoke about the work to be done in 2022 to strengthen the material and technical base of the university.
At the meeting, which was held in the spirit of open dialogue, faculties and students of Urgench State University expressed their views on the ongoing reforms in the country, including the changes taking place in Khorezm region. They welcomed the projects, supported the ongoing reforms in the country with their active participation.
