A meeting on "We are against corruption" was held
Today, the fight against corruption has become one of the most pressing issues around the world. At present, all the legal framework for combating corruption has been made in our country. Each of us needs to be vigilant and responsible in this regard.
Today, on February 10, 2022, H. Shihova, Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" of UrSU, held a conversation with 2nd year students of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty on the topic "We are against corruption."
The lecture also provided detailed information on legitimacy, the priority of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, openness and transparency, systematization, cooperation between the state and civil society, priority of anti-corruption measures, the inevitability of liability as the main principles of the fight against corruption. It was also noted that the Republic of Uzbekistan has adopted a number of normative and legal acts aimed at combating corruption, in particular, the Law "On Combating Corruption." At the end of the meeting, students received expert’s answers to their questions.
