Brick-laying ceremony was held of the new academic building at Urgench State University
Today, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Abdukadir Tashkulov visited Urgench State University. During the visit, the Minister, accompanied by the rector of UrSU Bakhrom Abullayev, and university officials and a group of professors, inspected the construction of a 7-storey "Smart" building for 2,000 seats, talked to the builders, got acquainted with the project and took part in the brick-laying ceremony.
For information, this educational building has 51 classrooms, 12 modern teaching laboratories for physics and biology, 8 lecture halls for 100 people, 7 computer rooms, libraries, dean's office, rooms for heads of the departments and teachers.
In the basement of the building, there are rooms for various clubs and extramular activities, as well as educational services are organized for students to spend their free time meaningfully.
The academic building is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year.
