Hello, Navruz!
Each holiday has its own charm. Navruz holiday is unique with its lapars, melodies, jokes and Uzbek national dishes.
Today, on the occasion of Navruz, the holiday was celebrated in a high mood in the Culture Hall of Urgench State University.
It was attended by university students and faculties. The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual-Educational Affairs S.Davletov. He also awarded diplomas and gifts to the winners of the essay contest among students of the university, dedicated to the history, essence and significance of the holiday of Navruz.
A group of talented students of the university performed at the event.
Poems, songs, dances and plays performed on the stage embodied our nationality, the ancient customs and traditions of our people. The participants of the event were in a festive mood.
