Memorial event: "Everlasting Human Image"
Rustam Kurbanniyozov, Excellence in Public Education of Uzbekistan, holder of the medal "Shavkatli mehnati uchun" and the title of "O‘zbekistonda xizmat ko‘rsatgan yoshlar murabbiysi", Professor of Urgench State University, a multidisciplinary scientist who has made a significant contribution to the development of geography, would be 63 years old if he were alive…
Today, a group of professors and teachers of the Natural Sciences Faculty of UrSU, students and followers of the late teacher Rustam Kurbanniyozov commemorated the scientist. In particular, the head of the department "Geodesy, Cartography, Geography" docent A.Abdullayev, dotcent. S.Matsaidova, senior teacher R.Ismailov and students of Geography and Cadastre.
Speakers recalled the teacher's good deeds, good works and memorable events. The students were also informed about the life, scientific and creative research studies and works of Rustam Kurbanniyozov.
The event was followed by a geography contest among students. All students actively participated and demonstrated their knowledge.
The winners of the contest were awarded certificates of honor, gifts and books published by teachers of the department.
