A spiritual and educational event dedicated to the elimination of negative influences affecting the spiritual and moral condition of youth
On April 7, 2022, Urgench State University hosted a spiritual and educational event on "Effective ways to address issues such as delinquency, drug addiction, immorality, which have a negative influences on the spiritual and moral condition of youth."
It was attended by teachers and tutors of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty, as well as freshmen.
The event was attended by Deputy Chief of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel D.Bogibekova; Senior Inspector of the Urgench Department of Internal Affairs Major Sh.Botirova; Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs Lieutenant H. Shomurotova.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov, who introduced the event participants. He also stated the main purpose of the event, emphasizing that the need to fight against various destructive ideas through education and science.
They noted that among the comprehensive reforms being carried out in the country today, a number of measures are being taken to combat crime, drug addiction, immorality and their prevention. They also stressed that the meeting is aimed at educating youth who think independently, respect national and universal values, have strong vital beliefs and views, and are able to resist the harmful influences that are alien to our national culture.
At the event, students received detailed answers to their questions from experts.
