A scientific-practical conference was held on the occasion of the 686th anniversary of Amir Temur
Today, April 8, a scientific-practical conference was organized by the Faculty of History of Urgench State University and Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party on the occasion of the 686th anniversary of the great statesman, skilful commander, patron of science and culture, talented architect Sahibkiran Amir Temur.
It was attended by historians, party representatives, professors and students of the Faculty of History.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual=Educational Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov. In his speech, he spoke about the unique role of Amir Temur, who embodied such universal qualities as patriotism, justice and humanity in our rich history of thousands of years, first of all, his work as a skilful commander and head of state.
After that, the Deputy Chairman of the Khorezm regional branch of Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party Sh. Tangriberganova made a report.
At the scientific-practical conference, the head of the department of "History" of UrSU, Ph.D., docent U.Abdullayev's reports on "Amir Temur diplomatiyasi", Professor of the department of "History" of UrSU, K. Sobirov's reports on "Amir Temur hozirgi zamon tasvirida", docent of the department of "History" of UrSU, PhD in Historical Sciences K. Masharipov's reports on "Amir Temur davrida Xorazmning Buyuk ipak yoʻli savdosidagi oʻrni" and docent of the department of "History" of UrSU, PhD in Historical Sciences S. Matkarimova's reports on "Amir Temur va Temuriylar davri tarixshunosligi" were heard.
In the second part of the event, students of the Faculty of History performed a play about the life and work of Amir Temur.
At the end of the meeting, students who actively participated were awarded with gift from Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party.
