Chemistry and Biology Olympiads are held among schoolchildren


On the basis of the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 12, 2020 No PR-4805 "On measures to improve the quality of continuing education and scientific efficiency in chemistry and biology", on the basis of support of talented youth and accptance to higher education, as well as the organization of multi-stage Olympiads among graduates of secondary schools, and according to the order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education No. 383 on April 9, 2022, the Olympiad among the winners of the 1st round of the district (city) stages in chemistry and biological sciences among the 11th grade graduates of secondary schools of the Khorezm regional department of public education, the second round of the regional stage is being held at the secondary school No. 12 in Urgench. This stage is held under the guidance of professors and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of UrSU.

A total of 39(39 participantes for each places) school graduates who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in chemistry and biology, from 13 districts and cities, are participating in the regional stage.

The regional stage of the Olympiad also consists of 2 rounds, in which students compete in chemistry and biology to solve problems and complete practical tasks.

The jury will select the 10 students with the highest scores in each of the two rounds.

These students will have the opportunity to participate in the next university stage.
