Adviser to the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Odina Jamoldinova visited the Faculty of Philology of UrSU
As you know, on April 14-15 this year, Urgench State University hosted Republican training seminar on increasing women's social and political participation. It was attended by chairwomen of the Women's Advisory Board of more than 150 universities of the country.
The organizer and moderator of the seminar, Adviser to the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Odina Jamoldinova visited the Faculty of Philology during the visit and, in addition to directly observing the teaching process, talked to students.
In the course of the conversation, attention was paid to our language, problems of modern linguistics, creation of the national corpus of the Uzbek language, the concept of "corpus", scientific work on the "National language corpus", and exchanged opinions on what research should be conducted on this issue. She expressed her satisfaction with the views expressed by students on the basis of analytical evidence, and also made her suggestions.
She then visited the Museum of the History of the Faculty. Dean of the Faculty, Ph.D. D.Gayipov, Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, docent. A.Primov, head of the department "Uzbek language and literature", docent. S.Matkarimova informed about the research work carried out at the faculty, the achievements of students, the ongoing republican scientific-practical conference and presented a set of conference materials.
