Adviser to the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Odina Jamoldinova got acquainted with the activities of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation
On April 14, 2022, Odina Jamoldinova, Adviser to the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education, visited the Republican training seminar and was interested in the activities of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Faculty of Foreign Philology.
In particular, she met with professors and teachers of the department and talked about the work being done today in the field of translation.
She recommended to translate of masterpieces of Uzbek literature into foreign languages, and samples of world literature into Uzbek, as well as to organise an exhibition of works translated into English and German. In this regard, she wished success to the team in its responsible activities, such as the translation of fiction.
