A scientific conference was held on the topic "Abu Rayhan Beruni's heritage and development of civilization".

Today, in cooperation with Urganch State University, Khorezm Ma'mun Academy, Beruni Descendants public fund, a scientific conference was held on the topic of "Abu Rayhan Beruni's heritage and development of civilization" regarding the tasks mentioned in the Resolution of the Honorable President Sh. Mirziyoyev "On the international celebration of the 1050th anniversary of the great thinker and encyclopedist Abu Rayhan Beruni" as well as on the occasion of the birth of the great scholar Abu Rayhan Beruni.

Professor-teachers and students of Urganch State University, scientists of Khorezm Ma'mun Academy, the "Descendants of Beruniy" public fund and representatives of public higher education institutions of the republic through Zoom program took part in the conference.

The work of the conference was organized by Urganch State University, Dr. Phys.-Math. Sc. Rector Bahrom Abdullayev and Chairman of Khorezm Ma'mun Academy, Professor Ikram Abdullayev opened with an introduction and emphasized the practical importance of this seminar in educating students and young researchers in the scientific direction and forming them as scientists.

At the beginning of the seminar, the congratulatory words of the vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan,  Sc.D., professor B. Abduhalimov, the mayor of Beruniy district A. Saparbayev and the head of the public fund "Descendants of Beruniy" K. Shoniyozov were heard.

In the current period, when the country has entered a new stage of development, it is determined to create the foundations of the Third Renaissance. In the new Uzbekistan, the issues of in-depth study of the priceless heritage of our great scholars and its delivery to the public have become one of the priority issues. Because, in today's era, when the need for competitive personnel is increasing, the role of science is incomparable.

The conference will include the study of the heritage of scholars, the works being carried out in this direction, scientific lectures dedicated to scientific research, including below topics were listened to and discussed:
