Urgench State University held a scientific-practical conference on the topic “New stage of Uzbek language development in new Uzbekistan”
On October 20, 2021, the Culture Hall of Urgench State University hosted a scientific-practical conference "New stage of Uzbek language development in new Uzbekistan ", dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Uzbek language.
The conference was attended by scientists, poets, prominent specialists of the field, representatives of the Khorezm regional branch of the Writers ' Union of Uzbekistan, the Khorezm regional branch of the Liberal Demokratk Party of Uzbekistan, as well as faculties and students of the Philological faculty.
The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU S. Davletov.
Speakers at the conference, in particular, R.Khudayberganov, Adviser to the Khorezm Region Governor on State Language, G. Ibodullayeva, chairwoman of the Khorezm regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, well-known poets K.Muhammadrizo and I.Ollaberganov, Dean of the Faculty of Philology candidate of philological sciences, docent D.Gayipov, Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, candidate of philological sciences, docent A.Primov, Ph.D. docent A.Orazboyev, Ph.D., docent S.Ruzimbaevs lectured on “Ona tilimiz taraqqiyoti bo‘yicha viloyatimizda amalga oshirilayotgan ishlar to‘g‘risida”, “Til borki, o‘lmaydi millat”, “Istiqlol yillarida tilimiz takomili borasidagi davlat siyosati va galdagi vazifalar xususida”, “O‘zbek tilining ruhiy-ijtimoiy xususiyati haqida”, “Ogahiy asarlari mumtoz merosimiz tadqiqi va nashri kesimida”, “Til-davlat timsoli, mulki” and other topics.
It was also emphasized that it is necessary to preserve the dignity of our language, to explain to the younger generation the meaning of the negative words appearing in the language in today's globalisation process, to address the reforms carried out to increase the prestige and status of our native language, and that every child of this country should love his native. During the conference, samples of works of famous poets praising our language were heard.
At the end of the conference, the winners of the essay contest " Ona tili – millat ruhi ", the contest of video and audio poems " Ona tilim abadiy " organized on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Uzbek language were awarded diplomas and presents.
