New reforms in the field of education: admission processes for the 2021/2022 academic year
All the noble reforms being carried out in our country are being carried out e of the future of our people. Especially in the education system, large-scale reforms, changes are increasing every year. A significant part of these reforms is in the higher education system. A press conference was held at Urgench State University on July 31, 2021 on the topic: "New reforms in education: the admission process for the 2021/2022 academic year."
The press conference was chaired by the rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullayev, with the participation of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Khodjaniyazov, Scientific Secretary, I.Atajonov in charge of transfer and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, Secretary of the Admissions Committee of this year Z.Jumaniyazov, discussed current issues such as large-scale reforms in higher education, including this year's admission quotas, newly opened areas and specialties, the order of transfer.
Afterwards, the following questions from media representatives, bloggers, students and their parents were answered:
1. Will transfer requests be handled by the Ministry of Higher Education or by the university accepting the transfer student?
2. Last year's students were admitted to the bachelor's degree for the second specialty from the 2nd year, will this opportunity be maintained this year as well?
3. The quota for admission of 3475 students has been approved this year, given the number of super contracts, how many students can the university accept?
4. Can a university student, who is a 3rd year student this year, transfer his / her studies to another university, i.e. to another non-university direction, in the form of 2nd year?
5. Has the reconstruction of the obsolete, renovated educational buildings of UrSU started or is it about to start?
If repairs are included in the plan for the current year, which faculty buildings are these and how long will these buildings be included in the renovation plan?
These and similar questions were answered in detail during the press conference.
