Cooperation of Urgench State University in the opening of the club "Leaders of the Future" in Khorezm region
In his speech at the Students and Youth Forum on June 30, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan put forward a number of issues in the interests of the younger generation, in particular, the initiative to form a new generation of personnel reserve- "Leaders of the Future".
In support of this initiative, the State Service Development Agency under the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a competition to establish the Leaders of the Future Club in order to form a layer of young leaders with intellectual potential and active citizenship, deep thinking, independent outlook for students of higher educational institutions aged 20-35 under the regional branches of the agency and young civil servants working in government agencies and organizations, and candidates were selected.
On August 26, 2021, the club "Leaders of the Future" was opened. Professors and students of Urgench State University contributed to the organization of the club and the selection process. Two rounds of the 4-stage club membership competition were held at Urgench State University.
It is most gratifying that 38 (76%) of the 50 club members who have successfully passed the selection stages are civil servants, 12 (24%) are students, of which 10 are students of Urgench State University.
During the main activity of the club, practical trainings, meetings, open round tables on various topics related to the management and development of public civil service and human resources in the formation of young people's interest in public service, high professional potential, leadership, management and patriotic qualities,and successful civil servants in the region organized master classes, excursions to government agencies and organizations, seminars and trainings for participants. This will help our students to become a new generation of Uzbekistan.
