UrSU hosted a meeting on "The role of Central Asian scientistis and Islamic religion in world civilization"
On September 20, 2021, Abror Mukhtor Ali, Deputy Head of the “Teaching the Tajweed of the Quran” Department of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Researcher of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Honorary Doctor of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan visited the Urgench state university.
During the visit, he met with the university students and held a meeting on "The role of Central Asian scientists and Islamic religion in world civilization".
The event was opened by a senior lecturer of the History Faculty Ph.D. Z. Odilov.
After that, Abror Mukhtar Ali spoke about the role of the views of Central Asian scientists on education and upbringing in the formation of human development,that the ninth and fifteenth centuries, known as the Eastern Renaissance, were the heyday of Central Asian spiritual culture,also spoke about the establishment of Khorezm Mamun Academy, the center of raising the culture of the East to the level of universal values, the contribution of Eastern thinkers to the field of spiritual culture, the values associated with the formation of intellectual culture, spiritual, socio-political, artistic and religious values.
The event was organized in an interesting way with questions and answers and was very impressive.
