"Navoikhon student" contest was held
On September 24, 2021, the September round of the contest "Navoiykhan student" was held with the participation of students of the Philology Faculty of Urgench State University.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Philology Faculty D.Gayipov, who wished good luck to all participants.
Participants of the contest competed in the areas of poetry on the epic "Hayrat ul-abror" by Alisher Navoi.
During the event, students of the 182nd group under the guidance of the teacher of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics M.Ruzmetova performed songs, dances, and plays about Navoi's works.
Employees of the Khorezm regional branch of the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party were guests of the event.
At the end of the contest, the head of the department of Uzbek language and literature, a member of the jury, docent S. Matkarimova announced the winners and awarded diplomas and presents.
