We, the youth, fight together against drugs addiction!
At a time when great changes are taking place in our country, young people are becoming more active and gaining their own place in society, we are all concerned about the fact that some of our white-livered teenagers are addicted to drugs. After all, the more the toxic destroys the human body, the more damage it inflicts on society. Fighting against this addiction is the duty of everyone who considers himself a child of this country.
On October 13, 2021, Urgench State University hosted a spiritual-educational meeting and concert program on the theme “We, the youth, fight together against drug addiction!”.
Speakers at the event, in particular, UrSU Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs Sanjar Davletov and a guest of the event, Criminal Investigation Officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shohrukh Juraev spoke about negative issues, including drug abuse and they stressed the need for every citizen to be involved in the fight against the "plague of the century", the countless consequences of drug addiction, the need for the youth to spend their free time meaningfully and engage in useful activities and called on the youth to be vigilant.
