February - an event was held in connection with the "Month against drug addiction among the youth"
Today, on February 10, a meeting was organized at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Urganch State University on the topic "Drug addiction - a life threat" with the participation of students and experts.
At the event, the first vice-rector of UrSU S. Davletov, the chairman of the university's council of tutors R. Matchanov, the resident of family polyclinic No. 1 Sh.O.Madaminov, doctor of Khorezm region AIDS fight center, employees of the department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control", tutors and students of Faculty of Natural Sciences participated.
Those who spoke at the meeting, thinking about drug addiction and its negative consequences, said that drug addiction is the most dangerous threat that harms the development of society and the nation, that it is currently causing concern to the countries in the world. They talked about a dangerous disease, an incurable disease, because of which thousands of babies are born with disabilities, and millions of people in the world die prematurely.
Students received answers to all their questions from experts.
