A roundtable discussion was held on the topic "Combating the spread of drug addiction and psychotropic substances among young people."
Today, on February 10, the event was held with the students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and was attended by D.Polvanov, Deputy Chief Physician of Khorezm Regional AIDS Center, Captain D.Rajabov, representative of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Regional Internal Affairs Department, D.Sapayev, preventive inspector of the university, and faculty tutors.
At the event, experts provided detailed information about the disease of drug addiction, the causes of addiction, their negative consequences, the spread of psychotropic drugs among youth and their effects.
