A commemorative party was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the birth of Abdulla Akhmedov, honorary associate professor of the Faculty of Philology of Urganch State University.
Today, on May 11, a commemorative party dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Associate Professor Abdulla Akhmedov was organized at the Palace of Culture of Urganch State University on the initiative of the Faculty of Philology.
It was attended by representatives of the Khorezm regional administration, members of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, literary scholars, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Philology and students, and lectures on the life and scientific activity of the teacher were heard.
In fact, Abdulla Akhmedov, associate professor of the Faculty of Philology of UrSU, honorary teacher, is an accomplished orientalist who worked at the university for many years and contributed to the science of literary studies.
The speakers who received the congratulatory speech at the conference acknowledged the great contributions of Associate Professor Abdulla Akhmedov to the development of education, the fact that he is a master of Uzbek classic literature and oriental languages, as well as his prolific creativity in terms of linguistic views.
After the introduction and lectures, artistic performances of the students of the Faculty of Philology were presented.
