"Career Day" labor fair at UrSU
Today, the issue of providing youth with decent jobs in the country has become the most important task. Based on the privileges created by our honorable President, our young people do not wait to graduate from a higher education institution to work. They have the right to work before completing their studies.
In the near future, thousands of graduates will graduate from the university and enter the labor market. In this regard, in order to provide them with new opportunities and ensure their employment, in cooperation with the main department of poverty reduction and employment of Khorezm region, a career day job fair was organized today, June 7, at Urganch State University.
Rector of the university Bakhrom Abdullayev, who opened the event with his opening speech, called on the students and young people to strive for the profession they are interested in, to take a worthy place in the labor market with strong potential. It was pointed out that large-scale work is being carried out to prepare graduates as competitive personnel that meet today's demands, and the conditions created at the university for them to receive quality education.
It should be noted that a total of 8,120 students are expected to graduate from Urganch State University in the 2022/2023 academic year. More than 3,000 students took part in the fair, which was organized in order to provide them with a decent job. 264 students were interviewed and recommended to work at the fair, which was attended by organizations and enterprises belonging to the departments of the General Directorate of Poverty Reduction and Employment in all districts and cities with 2377 vacancies.
