The President's initiative is in practice
On April 11 of this year, under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a meeting of video selectors was held on measures to increase the effectiveness of work in the field of youth policy and to further improve the system of working with them. In it, relevant assignments were given to those responsible for working directly with young people. In particular, on the basis of "Youth Balance", a group of young people was attached to the rector of Urganch State University to provide employment and solve the socio-economic problems of the youth with disabilities and in need of social protection in Shavat district.
Ibadullayeva Feruza is one of such young people. She lives in "Idali" neighboard, Qiyat village, Shavat district. She has one child. She has been interested in writing poems and literature since she was young. At the moment, she is doing hairdressing for women in the neighborhood at home.
Today, June 10, Rector of Urganch State University Bakhrom Abdullayev and a group of university representatives went to Feruza's living room. They interviewed her, asked about her interests, future goals, and gave necessary recommendations. The women who need Feruza's work at the moment donated the equipment needed for the beauty salon. In addition, based on their interest in literature, they told to organize a training course in the local school and to take care in creating the necessary conditions for obtaining higher education in the future.
Sobirov Sobirjon lives in "Khitoy" neighboard, Shavot district. 4th-grade student of UrSU Faculty of Physical Culture, 2nd group disabled. Currently, he coaches the youth of the neighborhood in Karate and MMA sports. Today, the Rector of Urganch State University Bakhrom Abdullayev and a group of university representatives visited school No. 23 in the district, where Sobirjon conducts training. They got acquainted with the conditions of the sports hall. At the same time, they watched the youth of the neighborhood who were doing sports and asked about their needs. Sobirjan was presented with sports equipment necessary for his activities.
Also, during their visit to Shavat district, they visited the apartment of disabled Yusupova Shakhnoza, who lives in "Polat" neighborhood, in order to further improve her lifestyle and provide financial support. They asked about her problems, talked with family members about Shahnoza's goals and interests. They said that Urganch State University is always ready to take care.
Indeed, working with the youth, who are the owners of our tomorrow, creating sufficient conditions for them, especially supporting the development of people with limited opportunities who are a part of society, is one of the most important tasks of today.
